Parkersburg mayor presents 2018-19 budget proposal Tuesday

Parkersburg Mayor Tom Joyce will present his city budget plan for the 2018-2019 fiscal year to city council members Tuesday night.

The latest road closure lists from West Virginia DOT and Ohio DOT District 10 are attached under the "Related Documents" section of this story.

While the Ohio River may not crest until Tuesday, it appears Wood County was spared any major flooding, thanks to lighter than expected rains.

A few merchants in downtown Marietta are getting back on their feet as they move belongings back into their businesses after forecasted river levels lower.
