With Father's Day just around the corner, it's time to give a big shout out to one of my best friends Tim Kidder!
My dad is THE epitome of selfless. For example, when we were growing up the poor guy wouldn't even ask for a new pair of shoes or socks just so he could save every cent he had to send all four of his girls to Catholic school. Then, to make matters worse, he would hear about his lack of fashion sense since he never bought new clothes! (I know dad, you could never catch a break! Your life is a giant Catch 22!)
Tim Kidder is a sports fanatic. And if being a Cleveland fan isn't hard enough for him, the poor guy was blessed with four girls he had to mold into athletes in our very own backyard growing up! (Now he did succeed with some, but not all, when it came to athletic ability!)
My poor father would even sit for hours in a hot gym with screaming girls watching cheerleading competition after cheerleading competition....after... well, you get it!
My dad is honestly a "Made For TV" movie dad. He never complains, always supports our decisions and just loves hanging out with his family. He also has to tuck EVERYTHING in! Even his pajamas, and if they weren't so big, I bet he'd tuck his sweatshirts in too (don't you think mom)!
But most importantly my dad will never get off the phone with you without saying I love you, which are wonderful words to hear when you live hours away.
Tim Kidder is a riot. He'll make you laugh when you're having a bad day and is truly a fun person to be around.
Dad thank you for everything. All of the opportunities you have given me were mostly due to the sacrifices you and mom made. I want you to know I appreciate these things everyday, not just Father's Day, but I wanted to take the holiday to let you know!
I love you dad!
Your baby girl, Abby
PS- Jason and I would like to take this time to thank you again for all you're doing for our wedding! We love you so much and can't wait for the big day!
