A Case of the Summer Time Blues

Bring on the fall season

If there was ever a summer I was looking forward to the end of, it's this one.

I think I would be ok if we never saw 90 degrees on the thermometer again -- 82 and
sunny works just fine for me.

And of course it's not so much the heat, as the humidity that really gets me.

I can't count the number of days so far this season the sweat starts streaming out of my pores
immediately upon stepping out of the shower, rendering that shower useless -- I
just know it's a high number.

As a matter of fact, the average temperature for July in Parkersburg was the hottest since 1999 with the high temp coming in at 77.6 degrees F.

I do know that starting a couple of days ago the average high temp dropped from 85 to 84 -- a step in the right direction.

Before you know it, I'll be complaining about the below zero temps and snow up to my knees..
