Just a few of the silly questions that we've all asked at one time or another:
"Tell me now, is that water out there in the ocean salty? Is that why we float?"
"Will those waves ever stop tonight?" "Why won't it stop flushing?"
"Is Hawaii on a different time zone?"
"Who won the battle of Pearl Harbor?"
"What season is it here in Hawaii? Will it ever get cold?"
"Did we participate in a Tsunami Drill or something?"
"Have the people back home seen any of our pictures yet? Do they know what we're doing?"
"You're not going to blog about this, are you?"
"I was thinking, what would keep me from renting a car and then driving it home to West Virginia?"
"What is that Island out there? Is it another Island, or the mainland?"
"If we take 'The Road to Hana', what will we see when we get there?"
"Do we need our passport to travel to Hawaii?"
"Will it be a long flight back?"
"Do these Hawaiians want to become Americans some day?"
"So Daylight Savings Time just started. Does that mean we are five or four hours different from back home?" [SIX}
"If Hawaiian Time is half an hour late...and Maui time is another 15 minutes later... does Hawaii switch to Daylight Savings Time?"
"Do Hawaiians celebrate St. Patrick's day?"
"So, you could actually feel something when the earthquake happened?"
"I can't eat all this. Kirk, would you like another serving of Hawaiian chicken?"
"Do you want to come back to Hawaii some day?"
(Stay tuned for more questions as they pop up. -"The Riddler" --Kirk)
