My Fave Lunch Spot

Erin Pulsanti explains why the Belpre Rite Aid is a happenin' spot for all things interesting!

Hello again Mid-Ohio Valley reader! Thanks for spending some time with me!

Reporters spend a lot of time on the road-- and because of that I'm often dashing in and out of drug stores, general stores, gas stations and free standing produce stands looking for a quick lunch. I've been to hundreds and, as with anything else, have my favorites. Lucky for me one of my favorites is located right over the bridge from the station.

My blog topic today will be the "Top 5 Reasons I Love The Belpre Rite Aid."

5) Local merchandise.

My immediate family members are scattered all across the country. Whenever a birthday or holiday arrives I like to give them something nobody in their area of the country will have. I am frequently buying Belpre Golden Eagle shirts, pants, hats, gloves and stuffed animals. Not only do they have a unique gift-- I'm also supporting the local school system-- and what could be better than that.

4) Cheap Movies and Cd's.

When I do get a little extra time to linger in Rite Aid- I'm always drawn to the multimedia section where classic moves and Cd's are sold for amazing prices. In the last two months I've picked up the original "Prom Night" (starring Jamie Lee Curtis), A Holiday Compilation CD, The Greatest Hits of Al Green, and Aretha Franklin's Greatest Hits... All for less than $25!!!

3) "As Seen On TV" section.

I am an obsessive infomercial viewer! I love everything about them... the acting, the crazy exaggeration of what the product is capable of, the "buy one and get a second free" purchase bonus, the 'see results or your money back' promise and free shipping. I rarely buy the products though-- mainly because if i do buy them and they don't work I'd have to pay for return shipping and deal with that hassle. When I buy them at Rite Aid- I can just bring them back to the store if I'm back in the area and it's practically no hassle whatsoever! I love it!  (PS- The Shake Weight is amazing!)

2) Cadbury Eggs

Hands down-- the Cadbury Egg is my favorite candy. I eat well over three dozen during the Easter season. I cannot get enough of them and very seriously contemplated paying over $80 last year to get my hands on some when they were taken off the shelves for the season. Belpre Rite Aid carries the Cadbury Egg before any other retailer! Honestly, when I saw them last year I dropped everything in my hands and ran to the stand they were in. I purchased a dozen on the spot and did the same over the next few days... I froze them and enjoyed them until about a month and a half ago.

1) But... The number one reason why I love the Belpre Rite Aid... An associate named Connie.

Connie is the friendliest person I've ever met. Every time I walk into the store she greets me with a smile and a hug and tells me how wonderful it is to see me. Connie always takes time to answer my questions and does the same with all her other customers. She's never to busy to help you find something or ring you up. She always works to make sure that you have a pleasant shopping experience and that you'll be back to see her soon. Aside from being a wonderful associate, Connie is a wonderful person. I look forward to seeing her every time I'm in the store.

Connie- thanks for always having a smile on your face! It really brightens my day!

Thanks for spending time w/ me MOV-- and if you see Connie- be sure to tell her what a great job she's doing!
