Would you like to know what the new Health Care Reform Plan actually says?
And would you like to ask questions of people, who are very much involved with that plan from the medical, insurance and labor sides?
Well, grab something to write with and take down this date.
Wednesday May 12, 7pm, Parkersburg City Council Chambers.
I’ll repeat that information in just a minute.
That’s when a Health Care Reform forum will be held at which you can ask any question you want.
Here’s who will be there:
Perry Bryant, Executive Director, West Virginians for Affordable Health Care;
Dr. David Avery, West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians
Fred Earley, President of Mountain State Blue Cross – Blue Shield.
Gaylene Miller, Senior State Director of AARP of West Virginia
…and Kenny Perdue, president of the West Virginia AFL-CIO.
I know this means that you might have to come out of your house in the evening and away from your TV set or your computer.
But this is important stuff that you need to know.
I’ll be there acting as moderator and believe you me, I’ve got a lot of questions, too!
So don’t just sit and wonder what the Health Care Reform Plan is all about. And don’t just let the talking heads on cable TV put their spin on what they want you to think it says.
Come and find out for yourself.
That’s Wednesday May 12, 7pm, Parkersburg City Council Chambers.
I hope to see you there.
