Hello. The speed of change is sometimes mind-boggling. We’re only 1/3 of the way through 2014, and the number of changes we’ve already seen just here at TheNewsCenter are amazing. You’re seeing some of those changes, in our new graphics and our new on-air weather system. These have given our newscasts an incredible, even sharper image. You’re seeing a lot of new faces on-camera in our newscasts. While that’s nothing new for us, the new folks that have come aboard are doing a terrific job and making a big impact on our news product. I’m getting a lot of positive feedback from the community on their work. And just as there are changes going on that you DO see, there are some other changes going on that you may NOT see. Behind the scenes, we’ve just completed a total transformation in the way we handle the scheduling and billing for commercials and space on our digital platforms. If you advertise with us, your next invoice from us will hopefully be more concise as well as being simpler to read and understand. We have a lot more behind-the-scenes kinds of changes coming up in the next few weeks, that are designed to help us be more efficient and able to handle the needs of our advertising partners even better. It’s only May. I can’t wait to see what other changes will come along during the rest of this year. Stay tuned! That’s this week’s editorial.
