Friederich Theatre, corner of Fourth and Butler, Marietta, OH
The Theatre at Marietta College presents “Tartuffe” by Moliere, translation by Richard Wilbur.
France’s greatest classical playwright mercilessly examines the evil that men can commit in the guise of religious fervor and the dangers that imperil those who would believe only what they choose to believe despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary. Hysterically funny and tantalizingly thought provoking, this production features six local community members alongside six Marietta College students.
All proceeds benefit Jillian Harlow and her family to help pay for medical, travel, lodging, and childcare expenses for their two sons. Jillian has a congenital heart defect, HLHS, which is half a heart. She had her second open heart surgery 3 weeks ago and is currently still in Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Jillian was born on May 10th and has been in the hospital this entire time except for 24 days since being born.
Entry fee is $20 if received by 11/17/17. $25 the day of the race. Please come out and run/walk for Jillian.
