Phyllis has enjoyed reading and sharing stories with others since she was young.

In 2013, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in English. As a member of West Virginia Wesleyan’s Honors Program, she studied abroad in both London and Florence.

While at Wesleyan, she worked at WDTV in Clarksburg and continued there until 2015 as a multimedia journalist/digital reporter.

In her downtime, she likes to make her friends and family laugh. She’s got a knack for impersonations!

Born and raised in Parkersburg, Phyllis is delighted to return home.
