Amy Kauffman joined WTAP in April of 2014 as the Daybreak Producer/Reporter.
She graduated from Marietta College in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting and Photojournalism. At Marietta College, she was actively involved with the college TV Station, WCMO-15 where she was an anchor, producer, reporter and Station Manager.
During her junior year, Amy was able to further her journalism experience by participating in the Marist in Manhattan Program in New York City where she interned for Live! With Kelly and Michael and The Dr. Oz Show. Last summer she was selected to intern at The TODAY Show where she had many opportunities to research stories, shadow reporters, log tapes, conduct preliminary interviews and assist during live shoots.
Amy is originally from Carlisle, Pennsylvania and is an active member of the National Broadcasting Society and The Sigma Kappa Sorority. During her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, shopping, taking pictures, traveling and trying new things.

Kauffman left WTAP and in January 2015, she became a weekend anchor and weekday reporter at KNOP in North Platte, Nebraska.
