PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Parkersburg Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Murdoch Avenue in Parkersburg around 5:30 p.m.
Sergeant Beniah Depue says the vehicle at fault was traveling south preparing to turn left. He says that’s when the vehicle traveling south failed to yield and collided with the other vehicle that was heading north.
The car at fault ended up going into a ditch in front of the Go-Mart on Murdoch Avenue.
Police say 2 people were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
There is no word on the condition of their injuries.
Sergean Depue says the driver was cited for failure to yield, driving with a suspended license, and no proof of registration.
