PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A new music festival, featuring 14 local bands and solo artists playing a variety of music genres, will be held May 13 in downtown Parkersburg.
The Undercurrent Music Festival will be held on Saturday, May 13, at Point Park Marketplace, 113 Ann Street in Parkersburg.
The doors will open at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, with music starting at 2:30 P.M. and ending after 10:00 P.M.
Festival organizers say a variety of food and drinks from restaurants across the Mid-Ohio Valley will be prepared and served at the festival, and each of the performing artists lives no more than 3 hours from Parkersburg, keeping the Undercurrent Music Festival a more "local" event.
Festival tickets are $20 per person, and can be bought at The Village Cakery at Point Park Marketplpace, or online, at the link in the "Related Links" section of this story.
