PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a three-vehicle crash on Murdoch Avenue Wednesday morning

It happened about 9:50 a.m. in the 2900 block of Murdoch Avenue, according to Parkersburg Police.

Officers say a Kia Forte and a Toyota Highlander were stopped at a traffic light when a Chrysler PT Cruiser rear-ended the Highlander, which then hit the Forte.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, Donna Rose of Troy, West Virginia, and a passenger, Brenda Milk, no hometown listed, were taken to Camden Clark Medical Center.

Police say Rose was cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
