3 People hurt in 3-vehicle crash involving ambulance in Mineral Wells

MINERAL WELLS, W.Va. (WTAP) - Three people are hospitalized after a 3-vehicle crash involving an ambulance in Wood County on Friday evening.

According to a Wood County Sheriff's deputy on-scene, the crash happened around 4:00 P.M. Friday, near the 2500 block of Elizabeth Pike in Mineral Wells.

Deputies say one vehicle crossed the center line on Elizabeth Pike and struck a second vehicle.

An ambulance that was following the vehicle that crossed the center line was then hit by the second vehicle.

There were a total of 8 people involved in the crash, and 3 of them were taken to Camden Clark Medical Center with injuries.

Their names and conditions have not yet been released.
