3-car wreck on Grand Central Avenue sends 2 to hospital

VIENNA, W.Va. - UPDATE: 01/04/2017 5:30 P.M.

Two drivers were taken to the hospital after a three-car accident at the entrance to Wal-Mart on Grand Central Avenue in Vienna.

It happened about 2:15 p.m.

Vienna police say Norma Myers, 84, of Parkersburg, was traveling north on Grand Central Avenue and attempted to turn left into the Wal-Mart.

That's when her vehicle was struck by a car driven by Delores Milhoan, 59, of Parkersburg.

The two cars then collided with a vehicle driven by Melissa Bell, 35, of Belpre. Bell had been stopped at the light waiting to leave the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Milhoan and Bell were taken to Camden Clark Medical Center by ambulance units from Camden Clark and St. Joseph's ambulance services.

A hospital spokesman says both women were in good condition undergoing treatment in the hospital's emergency room.

Police say Myers was at fault, but no citations were issued.

The Vienna police and fire departments and units from Camden Clark and St. Joseph's amublance services reponded to the crash, which happened in the southbound lane.

Two of the drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance. A third driver was not injured.

Vienna police are continuing to investigate.
