PARKERSBURG, WV (WTAP) - The Alzheimer’s Association, West Virginia Chapter will offer a free workshop in Parkersburg on Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.
The workshop, titled, "The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, & Alzheimer’s Disease," will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 2:00 P.M., at Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at 1710 23rd Street in Parkersburg.
The workshop is an introduction to the fundamentals of Alzheimer’s Disease and is designed to help families and caregivers gain a better understanding of warning signs, diagnosis, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, and much more.
The workshop is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.
