MARIETTA, Ohio - UPDATE: 11/8/17 4:45 P.M.

A Belpre man is headed to prison for years after being sentenced on numerous sex counts Wednesday in Washington County Common Pleas Court.

Kenneth Siders, 68, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material, two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of pandering obscenity involving a minor.

Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Rings says Siders was also designated a tier-two offender, meaning he will be on the sex-offender registry for 25 years after his release from prison. He also was given five years of mandatory post-release control.

Siders was arrested in August after authorities found hundreds of possibly pornographic images on a computer inside his home on Everson Avenue in Belpre.

Their search also turned up evidence that he had watched 11 videos on YouTube that could be considered child erotica.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says Siders admitted to downloading and viewing the images. He also admitted during questioning that he had molested a 5-year-old girl and took pictures of children who were at his residence.
