Bond set for six people arrested Thursday in Vienna drug warrant raids

VIENNA, W.Va. (WTAP) - Six people are in the North Central Regional Jail on varying bond amounts, after they were arrested in a Thursday night drug raid in Vienna.

At around 9:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 13th, members of the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force, Vienna Police and Wood County Sheriff's deputies served search warrants at two Vienna apartments, at 1016 18th Street, Apartment 1, and 1014 18th Street, Apartment 4.

The warrants both stemmed from an investigation by the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force that involved the distribution of controlled substances from both apartments.

Inside the apartments, police found suspected methamphetamine, and other items commonly used in selling and distributing illegal drugs.

Vienna Police Special Response Team then served arrest warrants at 1100 19th Street Apartment 10 in Vienna.

The following people were arrested:

William G. Harvey, 41, of 1016 18th St. Apartment 1 was arrested on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) (All three are felonies punishable by 1-15 years each in prison if convicted)

Kaitlin N. Pryor, 23, of 1014 18th St. Apartment 4, Vienna was arrested for possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, a felony, punishable by 1-15 years in prison if convicted.

Kendra R. Pryor, 23, of 3507 7th Avenue Parkersburg was arrested on a felony warrant for failing to appear from Wood County Circuit Court stemming from a 2014 indictment.

Joshua A. Polsley, 33, of 4449 18th Avenue Parkersburg was arrested on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin). Both are felonies punishable by 1-15 years each in prison if convicted.

Suean C. Guthrie, 23, of 1016 18th Street Vienna was arrested for felony child neglect. If convicted the defendant could face 1 – 5 years in prison.

Sylvia L. Casto, 48, was arrested on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Both counts are felonies and punishable by 1-15 years in prison if convicted.

All six suspects were booked and then taken to the Wood County Holding Center to await arraignment.

They were arraigned Friday in Wood County Magistrate Court, before Magistrate Jody Purkey.

William Harvey is in the North Central Regional Jail on $30,000.00 bond, awaiting a felony preliminary hearing.

Kaitlin Pryor is in the North Central Regional Jail on $15,000.00 bond, awaiting a felony preliminary hearing.

Kendra Pryor did not have a bond and will remain in custody to await a hearing in front of Wood County Circuit Judge Robert Waters for her charge.

Joshua Polsley is in the North Central Regional Jail on $50,000.00 bond, awaiting a felony preliminary hearing.

Suean Guthrie is in the North Central Regional Jail on $10,000.00 bond, awaiting a felony preliminary hearing.

Sylvia Casto is in the North Central Regional Jail on $30,000.00 bond, awaiting a felony preliminary hearing.

The Parkersburg Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force is comprised of investigators from the Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Vienna Police Department, Williamstown Police Department and the West Virginia State Police.
