Civil War Reenactments at Henderson Hall

In honor of West Virginia’s birthday this Tuesday, a local historic landmark brought out its cannons to celebrate the only state that was born out of the Civil War.

The historic Henderson Hall is holding events all weekend long for the 9th annual "Carlin's Battery D" of Artillery and Western Virginia Artillery re-enactments.

Take yourself back to the 1860's and surround yourself with artillery demonstrations, mansion tours, barn dances, and the reenactment of a tactical battle.

The public is welcome to walk around the camps at 9 a.m. to interact with different characters from the Civil War.

You can catch a reenactment at Henderson Hall Sunday, June 18th at 1pm.
