Classic Plastics Toy & Comic Expo returns to Parkersburg

Parkersburg, W.Va. (WTAP) - All the toy and comic lovers filled the Parkersburg Art Center on Saturday.

The annual Classic Plastics Toy and Comic Expo has returned for its 5th year.

Vendors from all over the world brought comic books and video games.

Of course the colorful costumes also made an appearance.

One vendor says he has been making toys for 35 years and traveled all the way from Connecticut to share his new hand puppet toys.

Tim Clarke says, "They asked me to come as a guest, and I'm here promoting the new boglins. You know it's great just to meet the people who had my toys as a kid, and have grown up with them. Now they want them for their own kids."

This event will continue Sunday at 11am-5pm.
