2-Month Downtown Parkersburg repaving project begins October 2

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A two-month repaving project is expected to cause traffic delays in downtown Parkersburg.

The West Virginia Division of Highways says the repaving work will be done between Saturday, October 7 and Thursday, November 30, on the following streets:

Juliana Street Bridge ramp on WV68 Southbound, to the intersection of 4th Street

Juliana Street Bridge ramp on WV68 Northbound, to the intersection of 3rd Street

WV14/4th Street, from Ann Street to Green Street

Ann Street, from 5th Street to 8th Street

8th Street, from Ann Street to Green Street

WV618/7th Street, from Green Street to the intersection of WV14/East Street

WV DOH officials say while most of the milling and paving work will be done at night, motorists may see single-lane closures for curb and sidewalk repairs, from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. each weekday.
