Dozens of accidents reported across the Mid-Ohio Valley after snowfall

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - 2 to 3 inches of snow fell Saturday afternoon. It created slick roads and tricky conditions for drivers, which also made for a busy day for first responders.

The Wood County 911 Center reports more than 20 accidents took place in Wood and Wirt counties counties. In Washington County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers responded to 20 calls of crashes. Washington County Sheriff deputies report responding to more than 15 accidents. Over in Ritchie County, an accident on Route 16 in Ellenboro involved 30 cars but no serious injuries were reported.
