Parkersburg duo arrested after police find crack cocaine in their car and home

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The Parkersburg Violent Crimes & Narcotics Task Force team stopped 43-year-old James Mitchell and 38-year-old Ashley Curry on 5th Street in Parkersburg for a traffic violation.

When they were pulled over, agents reportedly found 18 grams of crack cocaine and 19 grams of marijuana, along with some cash.

Investigators got a search warrant to go inside their home on Parmaco Street in Parkersburg.

During the search, they reportedly found two ounces of crack cocaine, along with digital scales, packaging materials and $1,000 in cash.
