Free Pulmonary Function Screening for First Responders

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Camden Clark Health and Wellness Center is continuing to offer free pulmonary function tests for first responders on the front lines of this fire at IEI, Inc. storage facility in South Parkersburg.

Screenings will be held on Thursday, October 26, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. and on Friday, October 27, from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

Camden Clark's staff says it wants to protect first responders that are putting their health on the line to fight this fire.

Loui Haer, with Camden Clark says, “Pulmonary function test is basically testing how much air you can breathe in and breathe out in a minute. It's a very simple test, it will allow us to give those folks to see if there is any issues they're having, and if they can they can obviously get to their physicians."

Camden Clark says it will offer free pulmonary function tests to the general public on November 11th, at the Health and Wellness Center.
