MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - Cathy Dunaway is a teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School in Marietta.

Her students say she makes learning fun with a unique way of teaching accountability. They have to rent out their desks and other school supplies with Monopoly money that she hands out for completing tasks and good behavior.

She's willing to go the extra mile to make her students smile and to lend a helping hand.

"It's so nice to be able to get up in the morning and know that I'm not going to a job, I'm doing something that I love, that I'm passionate about, and I get to work with these children every day. it's wonderful. There's just so many of those ah-ha moments that the children go through and that's when I think 'yeah, that's what it's all about," Dunaway said.
