Man in custody after several break-ins in Gallia County

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - A suspect has been arrested in connection with several break-ins throughout Gallia County.

Sheriff Matt Champlin says deputies are still investigating, but one man is in custody.

William Tribble Jr., 24, of Greenfield Township, is in the Gallia County Jail.

Deputies executed a search warrant at his home on Kokeen Road earlier this week and found a large amount of stolen property.

He is charged with breaking and entering.

Deputies say the suspect was targeting remote hunting cabins, homes and garages in Greenfield Township.

"I am thankful for the diligent work of the Deputies and Investigators who have worked tirelessly to seek justice in this case for our hardworking citizens who have been a victim of these criminal acts," Champlin said in a press release. "As of the time of this statement, we are continuing our investigation and communicating with our victims to ensure that our case is thorough and complete.
