PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Flu cases are still on the rise, and the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department is still offering the flu vaccine at all 6 of its locations.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone get the flu vaccine, and the MOV Health Department offers the flu vaccine for all ages at its offices in Calhoun, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt and Wood counties.
The cost of the flu vaccine is billed to your health insurer, and costs $25 if you don't have health insurance.
If you are over 65 and do not have Medicare, the flu vaccine costs $30.00.
Payment for the flu vaccine is due when you get the vaccine.
At the Wood County MOV Health Department office in Parkersburg, walk-ins are welcome to get a flu vaccine Monday through Friday, from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M and 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
Appointments are required at MOV Health Department locations in Calhoun, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, and Wirt counties.
