No injuries after SUV crashes into Garfield Avenue business

PARKERSBURG, W.VA. (WTAP) - A Vienna woman escaped injury Friday morning after her vehicle crashed into the side of a business on Garfield Avenue in Parkersburg.

Parkersburg Police say Emilie Theobald-Rowlands, 36, of Vienna, was parking her Toyota SUV in front of the Christian Supply Center store when she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake, sending her vehicle about two-thirds of the way through an outside wall.

The accident happened about 10:15 a.m.

The business was open at the time but police say no one inside was injured.
