LOWELL, OH. (WTAP) Washington County officials are searching for two suspects who are allegedly connected to a break-in at a Dollar General early this morning.
Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks tells us the break-in occurred just after 4 a.m. Sunday morning at the Dollar General store in Lowell.
A person wearing jeans, a camouflage shirt, gloves, and a facemask allegedly broke into the store and hacked the safe using a metal grinder, stealing an undisclosed amount of money.
Video caught from surveillance show who authorities believe to be the suspects accomplice.
Sheriff Mincks tells us he believes this man, who was driving a red Celica, was at a local gas station helping look out for the person breaking into the Dollar General.
Officials say they believe these two people are connected to other Dollar General break-ins around the area.
