UPDATE: One suspect arrested, one still on the run, after police chase in Noble County, Ohio

NOBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - UPDATE: 8/11/2017, 12:14 P.M.

Police say one suspect is in custody and another is still on the run, after a police chase Thursday night in Noble County, Ohio.

Around 9:00 P.M. Thursday, Noble County Sheriff's deputies and one Ohio State Highway Patrol unit were in pursuit of a vehicle with two occupants inside.

Deputies say the chase ended in the Senecaville Lake area, and the suspects ran out of the vehicle.

One suspect was arrested by deputies on-scene, but the second suspect was able to escape.

Deputies and K-9s are still searching Noble County for the second suspect.

The Noble County Sheriff's Office has not yet released the names of the suspects or what they're charged with, because it says they're involved in an ongoing investigation.

When we get more details of the suspects and what they're accused of, we'll update this story on-air and here at TheNewsCenter.tv.


Officials say they caught one of the two people in the car in the Senecaville Lake area.

The other is still on the run. K-9s are searching the area.


The Ohio State Highway Patrol is in pursuit of a car in Noble County.

Details are limited at this time, since authorities say the pursuit it still active.
