One person flown to Columbus hospital after head-on crash on Route 676 in Washington County

WATERTOWN, Ohio - One person has been flown by helicopter to Grant Hospital in Columbus, after a head-on crash Thursday evening in Washington County.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the 2-car crash happened just after 5:00 P.M. Thursday, on State Route 676 near Watertown.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says one person involved in the crash was flown to Grant Hospital in Columbus.

The names and conditions of the people involved in this crash have not yet been released.

The Beverly Volunteer Fire Department was also on the scene of the crash.

The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
