Parkersburg Utility Board lifts boil-water advisory for section of downtown Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, WV - UPDATE: 10/24/2017 3:05 P.M.

The Parkersburg Utility Board has lifted a boil-water advisory a section of downtown Parkersburg.

The order affecting Ann Street to Green Street and 1st Street to 4th Street was issued on Monday after crews repaired a main waterline break.

The Parkersburg Utility Board has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the following parts of Downtown Parkersburg:

Ann Street to Green Street and 1st Street to 4th Street in Parkersburg.

All PUB water customers in that area should boil tap water and let it cool before using it for drinking or cooking.

The boil water order is because of a broken 12-inch water main near the intersection of 3rd Street and Ann Street.
