Part of U.S. 50 Westbound in Ritchie County to close for bridge repairs

RITCHIE COUNTY, WV - Part of U.S. 50 Westbound in Ritchie County will be closed for 2 weeks for bridge deck repairs.

The West Virginia Division of Highways says it will close all Westbound lanes of U.S. 50 at milepost 34 (near Bonds Creek Bridge) in Ritchie County, from 7:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Sept. 26 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, Oct. 6.

During the lane closure, crews from Kanawha Stone Company will be repairing the bridge deck on Bonds Creek Bridge.

Motorists on U.S. 50 Westbound will be required to take a signed detour during the closure.
