It's a new year, which means a new agenda for Parkersburg Rotary.
Monday’s focus was tourism in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Mark Lewis from the Parkersburg Visitors and Convention Bureau spoke about the importance of attracting people to our area.
He says tourism can reflect positively on residents' tax returns and help with local business.
WTAP spoke with the club's president, Jason Landers, about its plans for 2017.
He said his main focus is growing membership.
If you're interested in joining the Parkersburg rotary club just show up to one of their weekly meetings at the Blennerhassett Hotel.
