Slippery conditions lead to minor crash on Route 7

MARIETTA, Oh. (WTAP) - The wet, slippery roads caused one driver to hydroplane Monday afternoon on State Route 7 near Bramblewood Heights Road in Marietta.

Ohio State Highway Patrol and Warren Fire Department responded around noon.

Authorities say the driver lost control of the vehicle when it hydroplaned, causing her to swerve into the concrete divider in the middle of the road and then veer off to the right and hit the guard rail.

Authorities say the driver declined medical attention and there were no reported injuries.
