The Newport Aquarium brought Blueberry, an African Penguin, right to Washington County.

Over 250 kids and their families came out to see this water flying bird.

Specialists taught the children African penguins can withstand about 100 degrees, and though only 2 feet tall, has eaten up to 41 fish a day.

The aquarium has been going through a lot of conservation initiatives and raising money to help the endangered species.

Nicholas Callahan a community educator says, "one of the things we do at the wave foundation is teach people about animals so we can actually get people to love them so we can make little changes in our lives to start helping these species even though they are on the other side of the world."
