ORIGINAL STORY: 5/15/2018

The Union Williams Public Service District has issued a Boil Water Advisory until further notice for some customers on Route 31 in Wood County.

The Boil Water Advisory affects water customers on Route 31 (Deerwalk Highway) in Wood County, from Route 2 to 2293 Williamstown Pike, including customers on all side streets, Neil Ann Drive and the Mini Giant.

The cause of the Boil Water Advisory is a water main line break in that area, which is being repaired.

Union Williams PSD officials say water should be boiled, then allowed to cool, or bottled water should be used, for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing and food preparation.
