HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WTAP) - West Virginia residents are donating money to rebuild a free library box that was blown up Saturday night in a Huntington neighborhood.

Surveillance video captured two people lighting a firework and placing it in the free library box, which was then destroyed when the firework exploded.

Matt Lockhart, the library's owner, shared the video with others.

In just two days, Lockhart has received over $800 in donations to replace the free library box and build more at other locations.

He says he plans to move his box to a more useful and visible spot.

So far, no arrests have been made in this case.
