WV State Police: Roane County stabbing suspect turns himself in

SPENCER, W.Va. (WSAZ) - WSAZ reports a man wanted in connection with a stabbing in Roane County on Thursday is now in custody.

West Virginia State Police say Joseph Daniels turned himself in Saturday. We're told Daniels walked up to a trooper performing a traffic stop in Wayne County and turned himself in.

Daniels was on the run since Thursday morning.

The stabbing occurred in Spencer.

The victim in the stabbing received injuries that are not considered life threatening.
