West Virginia State Police to conduct Sobriety Checkpoint in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The West Virginia State Police will conduct a drunk-driving checkpoint in Parkersburg this weekend.

The Sobriety Checkpoint will be conducted from 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20 to 1:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 21, at the intersection of Route 95 and Gihon Road in Parkersburg.

WVSP Parkersburg Detachment officers will be checking for drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs.

West Virginia state law requires law enforcement agencies to publicize the time and location of all Sobriety Checkpoints in West Virginia.
