WILLIAMSTOWN, W.Va (WTAP)- UPDATE: 2/19/2018, 12:00 P.M.

The Wood Co. 911 Center says, just before Noon on Monday, the Williamstown-Marietta Bridge was reopened to traffic after it was closed by flooding over the weekend.

UPDATE: 2/19/2018, 10:54 A.M.

The Marietta Police Department says, as of Monday morning, the Williamstown Bridge is still closed due to "several feet of water" still covering Pike Street and the entrance to the Williamstown Bridge.

There are no estimates on when the bridge will reopen, but police say they will reopen it as soon as the water recedes.

An alternative route from Williamstown to Marietta is Ohio State Route 7.

Front Street and the 100 block of Greene Street in Marietta have reopened.
