Windows broken out at 2 businesses on Grand Central Avenue

VIENNA, W.Va. (WTAP) - Authorities are investigating after vandals apparently broke some windows overnight at two business on Grand Central Avenue.

The Vienna Police Department is looking into an incident at the Serenity Coffee House, 1903, Grand Central Ave., while the Wood County Sheriff’s Office is handling an investigation at the Mattress Express store, 1327 Grand Central Ave.

The businesses are about a half-mile apart.

Authorities say about $1,000 damage was done at the coffee house and $800 at the mattress store.

Nothing was reported taken from the businesses, and authorities say they have no suspects at this time.
