Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person call at Go Mart on Highland Avenue in Williamstown Friday morning.
Officers noticed signs of drug use and that Layne appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances, as she was passed out in the driver's seat of her car while at the gas pumps.
Officers arrested Layne and later took her to the Wood County Holding Center where officers reportedly discovered additional amounts of controlled substances, including several bags of suspected heroin, as well as other controlled substances.
Layne was arraigned in front of Magistrate Marshall and bond was set at $20,000. Layne was medically cleared for incarceration at Camden Clark Medical Center and confined in lieu of bail.
