Joseph Lee Swiger, 16 of Waverly passed away February 6, 2018.

He was born in Parkersburg the son of Toby J. Swiger of Parkersburg and Lila Jean Bell Davis of Parkerburg.

Joe loved spending time with his family, was very outgoing with a big smile, was compassionate and loved helping others.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandparents with whom he resided, Richard and Barbara Swiger of Waverly; His siblings, Emily Swiger, Dylan Swiger, Melissa Swiger, Josephine Swiger, Roger Richards, Isaiah Gainer, Kayla Gainer, Ezekiel Gainer, Daniel Davis and Kayden Davis. His grandmother, Karen Logston of Parkersburg.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00pm at the Gateway Apostolic Church with Pastor Mike Seebaugh and Pastor Steve Joy officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1-2pm at the church.

The Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
