HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (WTAP)- A former Marshall star had a free football camp.
Vinny Curry hosted a couple of hundred kids ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. They went through some big time football drills, helped by Curry and many former Marshall football players.
The big draw to this camp is that it was free, including food and autographs afterward.
It was a way for Curry to give back and it was a great sight to see.
"I appreciate everybody that came. I want to say thank you to all of the parents that brought their kids out today," Curry said at the conclusion of the camp.
"It really means a lot just to have former teammates here, current Marshall players here, everybody meeting each other for the first time. To bring this to the community is just awesome."
This was the third football camp for Curry at his Alma mater and he has no plans of slowing down any time soon.
