PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (WTAP)- The Glenville State Lady Pioneers have picked up two major honors in the Mountain East Conference.

Head coach Kim Stephens has been named the conference coach of the year.

The Parkersburg South grad led the Pioneers to the first undefeated regular season in MEC play in women's hoops history, claiming back to back conference titles.

They are also on a 26-game winning streak and a fourth-place ranking in the country.

Senior Paris McCleod has been named the MEC player of the year for the second straight season: the only player to ever repeat.

McCleod averages 20 points per game and has had three double-doubles so far this season.
