PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (WTAP)- The Parkersburg South Patriots have defended the Corbitt Cup trophy.
In the 50th matchup between Parkersburg South and Parkersburg High, the Patriots came away a 19-13 winner in the thrilling double overtime contest.
With the win, South closed its 2016 campaign at 5-5. At the team's banquet on Sunday, the trophy was presented and will reside at the high school for another year.
