One of Beverly's best has decided to continue his football playing days for a university in Central Ohio
Fort Frye high school's Colten Skinner has accepted a scholarship offer to play for Ohio Dominican University---a division 2 school in Columbus,
He was recognized in a special signing ceremony Wednesday afternoon at Fort Frye High School
Colten signed his letter with his family, Coach Eric Huck, and his Cadet teammates looking on.
Colten finished up an outstanding career with the Cadets. On offense---the running back rushed for 716 yards---he also caught 28 passes for 439 yards.
Colten was a threat to score every time he touched the ball with 13 rushing touchdowns and 3 receiving touchdowns,.
On defense, he led the team in tackles---tackles for a loss---and interceptions.
Colten earned All Conference and All District Recognition.
Now he's ready start a new journey at Ohio Dominican as a defensive back.
