Making Shakespeare fun to learn.
The true passion to teach and love her students earns one Williamstown teacher this month's Jan Dils Golden Apple Award.
Nominated by a student, Mrs. Cyndi Pyles is described as dedicated, compassionate and deserving.
Not only is she active supporting student at their events, but also active in the community.
She says it is about being a good role model for her sophomore English students.
Mrs. Pyles says it is all about loving the students and making them top priority.
"I get my energy from the students. If you show them even the littlest bit of respect and love... they give it back to you in spades," she says. "I try to trick them into learning. I try to make even Shakespeare fun."
Students say a prime example of her thoughtfulness is making coffee every morning for the other teachers.
Small and simple gestures making the difference.
