Volunteers flocked to Vienna to kick off the 86th annual United Way Alliance fund raising campaign Wednesday morning.
The program helps fund 44 health and human service agencies here in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Volunteers stopped by to pick up campaign packets to distribute into the community in hopes of gaining financial support.
The executive director of United Way Alliance in our area, Joyce Mathers, says its a great way to give back to the community.
Mather says this year's goal is $750,000.
The United Way fundraiser starts mid September and runs through March.
